Bernice Au

Bernice is a Hong Kong-born visual and sound creative from Northern Beaches, Sydney. She loves to capture moments that are nostalgic and cinematic and experiment with sound design to create new soundscapes for these footage.

She also makes electronic music and DJs under the name “Nightjarr”.  Her music has been played on Triple J Unearthed, FBi Radio and SBS Chill. Her second release, “East Esplanade” is part of a vinyl compilation on Vinyl Moon. She has played DJ sets at Eaton Radio, Hong Kong Community Radio, Sydney Theatre and Neon Playground.

She curated her first art exhibition, “Welcome Home!” in June 2024, at Goodspace Gallery. She also exhibited her photography works at that show. She chose the theme ‘Home’ and worked with eight different artists on the event.
