Sumi-e, or Japanese ink painting, is a delicate and precise art form that requires the artist to work with a single brush and capture the essence of the subject with every stroke. Each brushstroke has a rhythm and flow, and once it's made, it cannot be erased, making every mark all the more meaningful.
