Food always serves as the centrepiece for the gathering of family and friends during the Lunar New Year festivities. Lunar Banquet A la Perspex is a series of 4 dishes that are often seen on my own family's table and the table's of friends who I have had the honour of sharing a meal with during these festive seasons. The dishes may not be classic dishes seen throughout the world, but the ones that take centre stage at my own Vietnamese heritage table.  

Lunar Banquet Ala Perspex is a continuation of Domus Vim's Dinneralaperspex series which seeks to capture Sydney's most famous dishes in the medium of perspex. The dishes look to create a sense of nostalgic permanence for the times we gather to celebrate milestones or just to be with one another.
