James Jirat Patradoon

James Jirat Patradoon is an internationally exhibiting artist whose illustrative style takes influence from comic books and Japanese anime of the 1990s; drawing upon imagery from drag, high fashion, kink, tattooing and the occult.

His neon gothic paradise of pop horror is conveyed across mediums of painting, drawing, screen-printing, murals, animated gifs, tattooing, and sculpture. His works are an exploration of Camp, and play with the contradictions of performative hyper-sexualised gender, East and West, the familiar and the Other.
