Rhys John Kaye

Rhys John Kaye (b. Eora Nation | Sydney 1989) is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist with a devoted practice focused on storytelling and unravelling the complexities of a human experience.  

Kaye draws inspiration from intuition, memory, and imagination, employing these elements to guide his creative process. His practice is multidisciplinary and includes painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and film. 

Subsequent to studying Fine Art, Design and Art History, Kaye started exhibiting in 2013 and relocated firstly to Copenhagen, Denmark and then to Seoul. South Korea. Both of which have played an integral role in his works development. Kaye has since exhibited work across Europe, Asia, North America and Australia, Most recently having solo exhibitions in Seoul and Naarm/Melbourne.
